Edward Larry Hughes, 95, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away on May 8, 2015 at home. He was born March, 28, 1920 to Roy Chester Hughes and Caroline Lena Karel in Neche, North Dakota.
Ed served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines during WWII. He was married to Alice Larson Hughes and was preceded in death by wife Alice, his parents, siblings Ruby Moffatt and Robert Hughes, and son Michael.
Ed is survived by his two daughters, Lois Holmes and Jane Butts of Hayden; and sons Terry Hughes of Holt, FL, James Hughes (Donna) of Mt. Dora, Florida, Thomas Hughes of Hayden and William Hughes (Susan) of Vay, Idaho.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Rimrock Cemetery, Hayden, and will be held Monday, May 18 at 10:00am.
Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
