The Whitefish Parent Teachers Association and Whitefish High School Booster Club are offering a sponsorship opportunity for all alumni during the Stumptown Scramble Golf Tournament.

This year, the organizations are offering the chance to purchase alumni signs that will be on display at the Whitefish Lake Golf Club during the Stumptown Scramble on Memorial Day, May 25.

“I encourage everyone who has benefited from our school system to share in this worthy cause and inundate the golf course with signs,” said Pearl Galbraith. “This is a great way to show your green and gold Bulldog support.”

The cost of the sign is $50 with all proceeds going to the Whitefish schools through the PTA and booster club.

Signs can have a family name and list of all students with their graduating year or future graduating year. Sign orders are being taken until May 21.

The annual golf tournament begins on Memorial Day with a shotgun start at noon. It’s a four-person scramble format. The tournament costs $150 per player to register after May 15.

Proceeds from the tournament provide financial support for educational materials, field trips, art supplies, informational presentations, grants that help upgrade school assets, vision screening, special education materials/curriculum, athletic programs and music sponsorships for choir, band and orchestra.

Players can register a team by contacting John Streibich at 260-1775. To order an alumni sign, contact Pearl Galbraith at 260-0485.
