Geoffrey Ryan Sutich, 40 Hayden, Idaho

Born January 4th, 1975, in Virginia, Minnesota to Jill (Marshall) Monroe, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Steve Sutich, Cotton, Minnesota. Died May 14th, 2015 at Kootenai Health.

Geoff lived in Mt. Iron, Minnesota from birth to 8th grade. He then moved with his family to Richland, Washington where he attended ninth grade. The family moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 1990 where Geoff attended Coeur d'Alene School. Geoff went back to Minnesota to complete his Senior year with his life long friends at Mountain Iron-Buhl High School in Minnesota in 1993. Geoff attended college at Mesabi College and St. Cloud State University in Minnesota and graduated with a BS degree from Carthage College.

Geoff married Lauren Jane Ramsden on September 4, 1999 in Lake County, Illinois. Geoff lived with his wife Lauren in Gurnee, Illinois as a Systems Analyst until moving his family to Hayden, Idaho in 2011.

Geoff loved God, loved his family, and was loved by everyone around him. His big smile lit up the room when he came in. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He coached his son Dylan's little league baseball and basketball teams in Hayden. He and his children shared a love of sports and gave his all to be there every minute and cheer them on. Geoff loved the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings and Gonzaga basketball. He loved music (Pearl Jam) but most of all he loved his wife Lauren and 4 little ones.

Geoff is survived by his wife Lauren, and his precious children: Josselyn (10), Dylan (8), Marly (5) and Cody (3). Mother Jill (Rick) Monroe of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; father Steve (Sue) Sutich of Cotton, grandparents Keith (Dolly) Marshall of Winona, Minnesota; sister-in-law Stefany Sutich and children; sister-in-law AnnMarie and Frank Burke and children, brother-in-law Lenny and Kara Ramsden and children, brother-in-law Derek and Angie Ramsden and children, step-brother Eric (Melissa) Dormanen; step-sister Jennifer (Jason) Janisch, all of Minnesota; aunts, uncles, cousins, and families.

Geoff was preceded in death by his brother Greg (9-28-13), grandparents Nick and Marge Sutich of Mt. Iron, Minnesota.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday May 19, 2015 at the Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the Hayden Meadows Elementary School Gymnasium with reception following. A private burial will be at the Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel is entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
