LAUREL - Athletic representatives from Mineral County were on hand last week to show competitors from all over Montana how it is done in Mineral County.

Including one athlete from St. Regis and several from Superior, the students were up against stiff competition from other Class C schools.

Brandon Managhan from St. Regis competed in the high jump for the Tigers, having qualified for the state meet at the divisional track and field meet in Missoula.

For Superior, Nathan Lapinski competed in the distance events. He took fifth place with a time of 4:39:.24.

Marissa Koke qualified in the javelin and the high jump.

Emily Riddle of Superior competed in the shot put.

Bridger LaPierre made the trip across the state to fly high in the pole vault event.

The two day state track and field event took place five hours east of Mineral County in Laurel last weekend.
