COEUR d'ALENE - The third annual Guns vs. Hoses benefit hockey game will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Frontier Ice Arena.

The teams will be represented by local law enforcement and fire agencies. Doors open at 4 p.m. for tailgating and public skating before the game.

Tickets are $5 with two cans of food or $7 without. Kids ages 12 and younger are free.

The event will benefit the Kootenai County Police and Fire Memorial, Wounded Warrior Project and Post Falls Food Bank. Frontier Ice Arena donated the ice time for the event.

The memorial will donate its portion of the proceeds to the family of Coeur d'Alene police Sgt. Greg Moore, who was shot and killed in the line of duty.

The memorial will host a tailgate party fundraiser before the game. During the party, the public can skate for $5 or $20 for the family.

There will also be a raffle and silent auction at the event.
