The Glacier Twins American Legion baseball team is in a bit of a rut.

They lost to the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen, 18-9 on May 23 in the Memorial Day tournament and then dropped a 5-2 game to the Kalispell Lakers later in the day.

On Saturday, they lost to Belgrade 3-0.

Uphill skiers need to be aware of avalanches on Big Mtn.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
