SANDPOINT — With three local historic buildings earning honors at Saturday’s Orchid and Onion Awards ceremony, it was very much Sandpoint’s party.

With more than 150 people attending the awards ceremony, Preservation Idaho said its the largest attendance the annual awards ceremony has ever garnered.

“And while a few of us southerners may have come up here to help you celebrate, this is really your party and we appreciate you letting us crash,” said Preservation Idaho’s Dan Everhart.
