Whitefish City Council to consider land plan at meeting

The Whitefish City Council meets today at 7:10 p.m. at the interim City Hall at 1005 Baker Ave. The following agenda items will be discussed, subject to change:

•  During a work session beginning at 5 p.m., the ouncil will review the proposed Haskill Basin conservation easement and multi-resource management plan with F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber Co. and the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
•  Consideration a resolution of intention to adopt an ordinance reaffirming the prior approval of the City Hall and parking structure project, designating the projects as urban renewal projects and approving the use of tax increment revenues to finance the projects.
•  Consideration of an amendment to the contract with Martel Construction on the City Hall and parking structure project.
