Bigfork artist Shana Smith presents Animals of the West at Whistling Andy Distillery in Bigfork Nov. 15 from 4-8 p.m.

Animals of the West will be a one night art show displaying a variety of small scale colorful wildlife oil paintings. Smith is known for working in a variety of styles and has created this show specifically to fit the local flavor of the Flathead Valley. Expect to find small affordable oil paintings full of color in a variety of styles with a few larger pieces available.  All frames will exemplify the talents of local wood artist Chris Pemberton who will be on scene to discuss any custom framing needs.

Smith is a Montana born oil painter with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from The University of Montana, Missoula.  Her work traditionally varies from classic realism to abstract with a high contemporary flare throughout.  She currently works out of Spokane, Washington doing shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.
