DOVER — Avista Utilities is suing the developer of Dover Bay over alleged non-payment on a promissory note related to establishing electrical hookups at the waterfront housing project.
The Spokane, Wash.-based utility is seeking $51,108 plus interest and attorney fees from Dover Bay’s development company, according to a suit filed in 1st District Court. Counsel for Dover Bay, Sandpoint attorney John Finney, has not yet filed an answer to the civil complaint, but has filed papers disputing Avista’s claims.
