According to Executive Director Jesse Mahug,h the event raised $52,800 to provide more mentors for youths. “Right now we have 60 matches between positive adult mentors and children,” Mahugh wrote in an email. “There are 18 children on the waiting list for a mentor.” The cost to support a match between a mentor and child for one year is $1,200.
