A Flathead County man on probation for leading deputies on a high-speed chase earlier this year has landed in jail again.

This time Harland Robert Jordan, 18, is accused of stealing a truck and all-terrain vehicle and burglarizing several businesses during October.

Jordan is in the Flathead County Detention Center facing three counts of felony burglary and one count of felony theft.

On Oct. 13, a woman on Three Mile Drive reported that her $4,000 ATV had been stolen.

The Kalispell Police Department was told that the stolen vehicle was in Marion: A caller told Flathead County sheriff’s deputies that Jordan had said he stole the ATV from Three Mile Drive.

Jordan was arrested Oct. 26 after deputies found that there had been a burglary at the Creston Business Center. The burglars broke the center’s front window to gain access to the building. A stolen truck also was found at the center and appeared to have been “taken for a joyride,” according to its owner, Jordan’s foster father.

At the same time, a laptop computer, coffee maker, chain saw with a loose chain and keys to numerous vehicles were reported stolen from an automotive repair business in Kalispell.

A home on Egan Slough also was hit by burglars, with a PlayStation 4 and nail gun among the stolen items.

Investigating officers interrupted Jordan and William Jared Jones as they attempted to pawn the items. Jordan had a nail gun and PlayStation 4 and reportedly had tried to pawn a chain saw with a loose chain earlier that day.

Jordan said his mother and another woman had given him the items, but both women said that was not true.

Officers located Deven Michael Broad, 22, and Taylor Shane Hill, who also admitted taking part in the burglaries and said the Oct. 26 break-ins began with Jordan stealing the truck from Creston Business Center and included breaking into the automotive business and the burglary at Egan Slough. Officers reportedly recovered much of the stolen property from Broad’s residence.

Broad, Hill and Jones each were charged with two counts of felony burglary.

Jordan is on probation after a five-year suspended sentence was handed down July 30 for criminal endangerment.

In that case Jordan stole something from a convenience store on West Idaho Street in Kalispell. An officer attempted to stop Jordan’s vehicle and a 90-mph chase ensued. Deputies were able to use spike strips to stop Jordan near the intersection of Airport Road and Rocky Cliff.

Jordan’s vehicle crashed into a deputy’s patrol car at the end of the chase. A breath sample taken from Jordan found that his blood alcohol concentration was 0.143. The legal limit is 0.08.

Judge Heidi Ulbricht will consider revoking Jordan’s probation on Nov. 19. Court dates have not been set for the other three accused burglars.
