Tyler Tanner

Arlee’s Tyler Tanner had his best performance of the season on Saturday against Wibaux. The 5’10” 170-pound junior receiver caught four touchdowns in Arlee’s 42-36 win in the quarterfinal playoff game. Tanner also threw another to BigSam. The switch between BigSam and Tanner isn’t a new thing. In fact, they’ve scored that way four times this season. Tanner has been in on 27 touchdowns this season, receiving 20, throwing five, running for two, and one on a kick return.

On Saturday, Tanner caught some impressive balls, including a tipped ball by a teammate that went for a touchdown, and an interception late in the fourth quarter to shut down a Wibaux drive.

Maybe one of the most impressive parts of Tanner’s season is his ability to play multiple positions. Whether it’s throwing, catching, running, playing defense, or returning kickoffs, his athleticism makes him almost impossible to contain.
