Bigfork chamber announces board nominees

In January, seven seats on the board of directors for the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce will become open for election.

Four current board members have been nominated and accepted a run at re-election. Seven other candidates also are running.

The candidates that have accepted nominations to run are:

  •  Gretchen Gates (i) — Eva Gates Homemade Preserves
  •  Diane Kautzman (i) — Crown of the Continent Guitar Festival
  •  John Lang (i) — Federal Protection Montana
  •  Donna Lawson (i) — The Jug Tree
  •  Robert Carrette — Marina Cay Resort
  •  Lisa Cloutier — The Raven and Islander Inn
  •  Tara Hoveland — Attorney at Law
  •  Brandie Kittle — Keller Williams Real Estate
  •  Patricia Landon — Flathead Beacon Production
  •  Shirley Moorman — Glacier Sotheby’s Real Estate
  •  Brach Thomson — Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre and Bigfork Summer Playhouse

(i) denotes incumbent

The board positions are two-year terms with an option of serving for four years. Board members are required to attend monthly board meetings and be an active part of at least two chamber committees each year.

Ballots will be mailed out in mid-November.
