An out-of-town property owner called the Whitefish Police Department to report that an apple tree had been cut down on his lot on Green Place while he was gone. The caller decided to check with his community association before taking any other action, but wanted the incident on file with police.

The son allegedly had to dig his belongings out of the trash after his ex-girlfriend threw them away, and there was some dispute over who was going to keep the dog. Officers counseled all parties involved.

A resident on Rapids Avenue called to report a gun that was accidentally discharged. The caller said he was taking his guns out to prepare for a hunting trip when one fired. No one was injured and the bullet was recovered in a fence.
