Arlene June Pedersen Lesterberg, 85

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Arlene June Pedersen Lesterberg, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away on Nov. 14, 2015, at Mountain Valley Health and Rehab in Kellogg, where she was a resident for eight years. Arlene was born on the family farm near Plentywood, Mont., to Marinus and Carrie (Olsen) Pedersen on July 15, 1930.
She married Arthur Lesterberg on April 15, 1950, in Plentywood. They moved to Pinehurst, Idaho, in 1962 from Reserve, Mont.
Arlene worked at the Pik Kwik store in Kellogg for many years. She loved her family and greatly enjoyed spending time with them and baking and cooking for them. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Arlene is survived by her children, Ron (Evelynn) Lesterberg of Pinehurst, Wanda (Glen) Schilter of Rock Springs, Wyo., Bruce (Joyce) Lesterberg of Post Falls and Wayne (Marshella) Lesterberg of Rathdrum; her brother, Maxwell Pedersen of Polson, Mont.; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur; and her siblings, Kenneth Pedersen, Seene Gunderson, Clarence Pedersen, Ovidia Medtvet, Alton Pedersen and Merlin Pedersen.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel, 106 S. Main St., Kellogg.
