Finishing atop the women’s category was Laurie Kreis of Huson, who turned in 275 fish. The second and third spots went to Missoula’s Brandy Hilde and Jeanee Mooney, who caught 212 and 170 trout, respectively.

Sunday wrapped up with a fish fry and awards ceremony, thanking the 195 anglers who turned in fish during the competition. Nearly 500 people signed up to fish in the tournament.
Mack Days is sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes as part of their effort to restore native bull trout populations by removing lake trout in Flathead Lake.
