The first substantial snowstorm of the year led to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office also meant the first complaint about plowing. Someone in Bigfork claimed that a neighbor who volunteered to maintain a particular street had pushed snow in such a way that it had damaged his property. The man said that he thought the neighbor piled the snow intentionally because of a property boundary dispute that was ongoing. A deputy interviewed other neighbors who had no problems with the plowing, and told the complainant that he should contact an attorney if the problem persisted.
