SANDPOINT — There were no city administrator candidates at City Council meetings in November. Mayor Carrie Logan will give “detailed information” Wednesday regarding the hiring process.

Logan did not respond to voicemails and emails Thursday, Nov. 19 from The Daily Bee regarding the absence of the city administrator candidates at the council meetings.

“I will have detailed info for you on Wednesday,” Logan emailed The Daily Bee on Monday.

It was originally reported that there would be no public comment on the finalists for city administrator. Logan then told The Daily Bee that the interview committee would narrow the field down to one or two applicants, who would then be at a meeting in November for council approval. Mayor-elect Shelby Rognstad also said during his campaign that finalists would be at a City Council meeting in November. No finalists were present at either of the meetings.
