Maci Lee, 7, of Kalispell, on the left, helps Jan Sharp of Whitefish as they prepare to-go meals at Sykes in Kalispell on Thursday. The Sykes Thanksgiving dinner began as a meal for people who had nowhere to go for the holiday. The annual event has now been going on for more than 40 years. This year’s meals consisted of mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans, turkey, ham, bread and butter and pumpkin pie. More than 300 meals were delivered and about 1,000 people were expected to go through the buffet line at Sykes restaurant.
