Christmas Ag Parade and party just around corner

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Business Association’s 21st Annual Holiday Lighted Agricultural Appreciation Parade & Street Party is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4.

Parade Entries and Sponsorships are being sought, according to Executive Director Jasmyne DeBeaumont.

“Moses Lake is proud of its location in the heartland of the Northwest’s most diversified agricultural region,” DeBeaumont said. “The Moses Lake Agricultural Appreciation Parade pays tribute to Moses Lake’s agricultural heritage, past, present and future.

This is spectacular parade. Participants light up their farm equipment or floats and brings them down to Third Avenue downtown Moses Lake. Along with the parade, there is a street party annually that features many local organizations and activities.

The street party includes entertainment in Sinkiuse Square from 5-7 p.m. Downtown merchants will be open late for holiday shoppers and, of course, the main event is the lighted parade which starts at 7 p.m.

The Moses Lake Business Association is accepting parade entries and sponsorships. Get further information and download the necessary forms at www.mlbacares.org or by calling the MLBA office at 764-1745 or 770-1700.

The deadline for parade entries is tomorrow, Nov. 25. Sponsorships are needed for entertainment, Photos with Santa and the Marshmallow Pit.
