PRIEST RIVER — A domestic dispute turned deadly Tuesday night, according to Bonner County officials.

Chief Deputy David Hale said Bonner County Sheriff's deputies were responding to a 911 call about a possible domestic dispute at about 11 p.m. When deputies arrived in the 4800 block of Spirit Lake Cutoff Road, they found two adults who appeared to be involved in the dispute, one with a gunshot wound.

Hale said they were a couple and it turned into a lethal domestic dispute. The female and her children fled the residence during the altercation. The names of all parties are being withheld for the moment.
