ROYAL CITY — The Superintendent’s Revenge Golf Tournament will be played at the Royal Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 26.

It is a 4-person scramble with a big twist. The holes will be eight inches in diameter. But there will be obstacles on the greens and other strategic locations.

The Superintendent’s Revenge was designed by RGC Superintendent Sean Vetterick. He’ll set up the course to make it more interesting than normal. For instance, there could be a hula-hoop around a hole.

“It’s really a lot of fun,” Vetterick said. “You should come out and try it.”

There will be shotgun start at 9 a.m.

There will be mulligans for sale. There will be pin prizes on many holes.

There will be on course games to add to the fun. The First 18 teams signed up get in. The entry fee will be $40 person or $160 per team.

Don’t forget to call and reserve your riding carts, which are not covered by the entry fee.

You may call 346-2052 at the Royal Golf Course to enter the tourney. Leave a message if there is no answer, and you will get a callback.
