Ticket sales for the Glacier Startup Weekend will end Friday at noon for the event at the Flathead Valley Community College.

The event will feature a breadth of speakers and industry leaders from the region giving advice to spectators and participants in this year’s Glacier Startup Weekend from Oct. 9 to 11.

“Teams are able to tap into qualified resource covering a variety of skill sets, which would be time consuming and costly when done apart from Startup Weekend,” said Kim Morisaki, an organizer for the event and business development director at Montana West Economic Development.

Presentation coach Diana Damron and creative strategist Connie Cermak will speak on the first night of the event. Damron comes from a long career as a news anchor and television host. Cermak has made a living as a marketing and branding specialist.

The duo will combine for a talk on “Mastering Their Message.”

Neil Stuber, owner of Hurraw! Lip Balm, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event.

Tickets for developers, designers and non-technical business members cost $99 per person to participate in the 54-hour event. Demo Day tickets, for those hoping to listen to speakers on opening night and the demo day at 2 p.m. on Sunday cost $25 per person.

Glacier Startup Weekend begins with 5 p.m. registration on Oct. 9. Speakers will begin at 7:20 p.m.
