The Libby Loggers traveled to Polson to face the Pirates for senior night. After a scoreless first half, each team managed a goal in the second period to end the game in a tie.

Polson’s Alex Encizo assisted a Mike Mercer goal with about 10 minutes elapsed in the second half to open the scoring. Gio Cano, assisted by Cody Wood, pushed in Libby’s tying goal about halfway through the second stanza. From there it was a defensive battle, with goalkeepers Andrew Hanson for Polson and Raffael Webber making crucial saves to keep the other team out of the net.

The Loggers come home Saturday for a Homecoming game with Bigfork, scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
