Glacier Park campground to remain open

Due to continued use of Apgar Campground later in the season than usual, Glacier National Park will keep camping sites in Loop A open past their originally planning closing date of Oct. 12.

The other loops in the campground will close Monday, and Loop A will change to primitive status with portable toilets installed throughout.

No potable drinking water will be available, and any water taken from streams and lakes needs to be treated. The camping fee is $10 per night.
