Carrie died Oct. 10, 2015. Eighteen years ago Carrie suffered a stroke.
Carrie was born April 20, 1938, in Harlem, Montana, to Kenneth and Thelma Main. Her family moved to Kalispell when she was 7 years old. She attended schools in Kalispell.
Carrie worked at the Park Inn in Kalispell for many years and at Andy’s Tukwila Diner in Seattle.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Thelma Main; her husband, Fred Richards; son, Dan Schulze; her brother, Ted Main; and sister, Shirley Main.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Nightingale, of Seattle; sisters, Phyllis and Richard Potuzak of Kalispell, Fran and Howard Ruby of Somers, Helen Petty of Seattle, Barb and Larry Smith of Kalispell, and Linda and Mickey Byers of Coos Bay, Oregon; brother, Earl, and JoAnn Main, of Sweet Home, Oregon; sister-in-law, Sherryl Main, of Kalispell; daughter-in-law, Glenda Schulze, of Kalispell; and grandchildren, Tara Graf, Austin Nightingale, Brandan, Bryan and Brayden Schulze and families. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. She has four great-grandchildren.
Carrie had resided at the Immanuel Lutheran Home for many years. Carrie’s family would like to thank Kalispell Medical Center, her doctors and especially the wonderful loving care she received at Immanuel Lutheran Home.
