A crew from Playco Park Builders in Denver, Colorado install a new playground set at Memorial Park on Tuesday evening, October 13, in Whitefish. According to Director of Whitefish Parks and Recreation Maria Butts the old playground was in a state of disrepair and needed to be replaced. "This park is being built from resort tax dollars," said Butts. "Anytime people buy local in Whitefish they support community parks." The park construction is going well and Butts expects the new playground to be open to the public by the end of the month. (Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake)
