Bigfork spikers hammer Troy

The Lady Trojans traveled to Bigfork Saturday, but came up short in a match dominated by the home court Vals. The Bigfork girls took the match 25-20, 25-15 and 25-16 from the visiting Lady Trojans.

Troy racked up 16 kills, led by Aurora Becquart with 6. Bigfork had 34, powered by Brooke Fraley’s 11. Becquart also added six aces for Troy.

Defensively, Troy had 53 digs, led by Kaitlyn Downey’s 27, and three blocks, two from Sami Rohrich. The Vals had 46 digs, led by Fraley’s 10. Lana Berg added three blocks for the defense and five aces on the offensive side.
