Couple enjoys fall picnic

A Minnesota couple just finished visiting their son in Whitefish continued on their wandering sojourn around the country Oct. 9 and stopped in Polson for a few minutes to enjoy a picnic lunch at the small roadside cutout near Boettcher Park. The couple said though they are here from a different state, they visited Polson before when their granddaughter, Peyton Twete played in a sports match against Polson High School students. Peyton Twete is now a Carole College Freshman in Helena, they said.
