DESERT AIRE — Two of the men who were injured at Priest Rapids Dam on Oct. 8 because of an explosion, are still at Haborview Medical Center in Seattle.

According to Grant County PUD publicist Chuck Allen, one of the men remains in critical condition. The other is in serious condition. Both are in the intensive care unit.

There is an on-going investigation by the Washington Department of Labor and Industries into the specific causes of the explosion. Initially, the PUD said it was a malfunction in electrical equipment in one of the generator areas.

Six men were burned by the explosion. One was treated and released from Memorial Hosital in Yakima.

The other five were flown to Harborview. Three were treated there and released from there.
