SANDPOINT — An Oldtown man was arrested for allegedly intimidating a witness in a theft investigation, court records show.
Jason Charles Miller is accused of harassing the witness and threatening to kill her if she cooperated with authorities on Oct. 12. The theft involved a television set that Miller was seen carrying down a road, according to court documents.
Miller, 34, was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail until he was served with a failure-to-appear warrant on charges of illegally possessing a stolen firearm, grand theft by possessing the firearm and growing marijuana, which added an additional $30,000 bail.
