Shirtless, shoeless girl found

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office reunited a young girl with her father after she was found near a corral on Dunnywood Lane. A person found the girl without a shirt or shoes and said she knew she did not belong to the property owner. The girl would not tell the person her name or who her parents were. An officer picked the girl up and was able to locate her parents.
A burglary was reported at a Lakeside cabin. The owner who said it had been unoccupied for a couple of weeks found that a lock had been broken and thrown through a window. The owner did not want to go in the cabin without a deputy present. The caller said the deputy would need an all-terrain vehicle to reach the cabin.
Two boxes of china, silver, and crystal were taken from a storage unit on Lincoln Lane.
A woman told deputies that she encountered an “ugly” man who was breaking into her storage unit on Lower Valley Road. Deputies thought that they located some of the woman’s property at a gas station a short time later.
A woman on Lochness Avenue was advised on how to get a no-contact order against her abusive ex-husband. The man allegedly said he would make the woman’s life miserable after he was served an order to have no contact with the woman’s friend. The ex-husband was upset because the woman was still in contact with her friend.
A deputy gave a man a ride after a gas station worker found him slumped over near an electrical box on U.S. in Columbia Falls.
A mini motor bike, 38 cases of ammunition and a tool chest were stolen on Montana 35 near Kalispell.
A man asked for extra patrol but did not want to file a report after he found that flowers had been cut in his yard. The man said the problem had been ongoing for several months but had escalated in the past few days as more than $100 worth of flowers had been cut.
A person on Fourteenth Street East North in Columbia Falls reported frightening off a bear that tried to enter a home. The person was afraid the bear might return and be successful at getting into the house.
A man came into Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound and said he believed that he was from the Marion area.
A woman on East Lakeshore Drive called Whitefish Police after she walked into her home and a drunken man followed her and tried to get in. The woman locked the man out and said she had a gun, but was worried that the large man might be able to get into her house if he tried. Officers responded.
A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle on Colorado Avenue.
Columbia Falls Police took a report from a person on Seventh Street West who said that a wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle during the night.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office located an elderly man who had gone missing on Tuesday. The man was found safe and sound and was put into the care of a medical facility for observation.
The Kalispell Police Department took a report after thieves allegedly broke the locking gas cap of a truck parked on U.S. 2 and stole gas from the tank.
A man found his truck topper on another vehicle that he noticed had gone missing on Friday from a location off U.S. 93. He recovered it from the young man whose truck the topper was on. The young man would not tell the owner where he found the topper.
A man staying at a motel on East Idaho Street reported that someone came into his room and stole $300 and some medication.
A purse was stolen from a conference room at an inn on U.S. 93.
An officer found that a disturbance on East Wyoming Street had been mostly verbal between drunk people who were trying to get someone evicted. A man originally called to say another man who was a wanted felon had hit him in the face.
An officer found two curious students who were playing with a new cellphone application on Grandview Drive after a woman called dispatch and asked for extra patrol because she had seen a man talking on his cellphone, pacing around a parking lot and looking in windows.
