POST FALLS — Two drivers were injured after a possible road rage incident resulted in a crash Thursday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 90 near the Spokane Street exit.
Jeffrey D. Hines, 51, of Coeur d’Alene, and William E. Howe, 57, of Rathdrum were taken to Kootenai Health with undisclosed injuries, Idaho State Police reported.
Police reported that Hines’ 2014 Toyota Tundra and Howe’s 2004 Chevy Silverado collided at 3:31 p.m., shortly after state police received a call reporting a road rage incident. A 2006 Kenworth semi-tractor driven by Joshua D. Peterson of Nampa also was involved in the crash, although Peterson was not injured, police reported.
The off ramp on eastbound I-90 at Spokane Street was blocked for about two and a half hours due to the crash, which remains under investigation, police reported.
