Maxine Paul, 100

Maxine Paul, 100 loving years, went home to be with her Lord on Sept. 3, 2015. Born May 22, 1915, in Wabash, Ind. She spent her childhood there and early on began studying tap and ballet. In her high school years she even taught dance loving every minute of it.

In 1934, Maxine married Daniel Paul and gave him three daughters, Cara, Nicky and Bonnie. Maxine had eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

They moved to California in the late '50s where she enjoyed working in a small dress shop and organizing fashion shows and as well doing some modeling. After 37 years of marriage, Maxine was widowed and devoted her life to her daughters and grandchildren. She loved to travel and took several trips with her daughters. Her favorite, however was to Paris with two friends. She also traveled some with Nicky and her husband, Al, in their motor home. She came to live with them in 2003.

Maxine spent her later years living at the Renaissance Assisted Living where she loved singing in their choir and soon became their soloist. She lived a wonderful life and was loved by many.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d' Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Hospice House of Coeur d'Alene.
