COEUR d'ALENE - Jack Barrett scored two goals and Devon Hoffman added another early in the second half of the Lake City Timberwolves 3-1 win over the Lewiston Bengals in a 5A Inland Empire League match at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex on Wednesday.

"We had 23 shots on goal and 10 or 12 were right to the keeper," Lake City coach Chad Beadell said. "It was a little bit frustrating, but a win is a win. We need to come out and play sharper, and we played a lot better in the second half. We can learn from this game, but I'm happy with how we came out and played in the second half."

Colton Gednalske had assists on both of Barrett's goals for Lake City (4-0, 2-0 5A IEL), which hosts Coeur d'Alene on Saturday at noon.
