Playhouse awards annual scholarships

The Bigfork Summer Playhouse awarded its 2015 Scholarships this year before the final performance of FOOTLOOSE on Aug. 22.
There were five recipients from the 2015 company.
The scholarship winners are:

Technical Scholarship went to Master Carpenter, Zach Murphy who is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology. He is currently going to attend Graduate school. Zach has been with the Playhouse technical staff for the past three years.

Acting Scholarship went to Kaitlin Sacco, who played the role of Ariel in FOOTLOOSE this past season. She attends Abilene Christian University in Abilene, majoring in Musical Theatre.

Doug and Grace Schroeder-Scott Scholarship went to Sean McKay, who played trumpet in the Music Ensemble this season. He is a sophomore attending the University of Wyoming as a Music Performance and Education Major.

Dudley Page Memorial Scholarship went to Alexander McDowell who played Woodwinds in the Music Ensemble. He attends the University of Montana pursuing degrees in Music Performance and Music Education.

Kacie Brehkus Memorial Scholarship went to Paige Mason, who played the role of Morticia in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. This was her second season with the Playhouse and she is a junior at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatr
