Jeanne Adele Carney, 94, left this life on Sept. 15, 2015, and entered into an eternal life of peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was born to parents Cicero Wilkes Rhea and Era Bullard Rhea on Aug. 22, 1921, in El Paso, Texas. Jeanne was raised by her loving and devoted parents as an only child in Houston, Texas. Because of many childhood illnesses, she spent her school years with private tutors. The Lord blessed her with the most beautiful operatic soprano voice which earned her a singing scholarship at Baylor University.

Jeanne married Paul Keith Will in Hennessey, Okla., where they began raising their three children on the family wheat farm. They farmed together until a huge tornado destroyed their home. These were Jeanne's happiest years. After the tornado the family moved to Seattle where they finished raising their children. A life of hardship ended their marriage and Jeanne remarried Ralph Justis until his death 47 years later.

Upon moving to Hayden, Idaho, in 2008 as a widow, she met and married Lee Carney at Wellspring Meadows Assisted Living. The marriage was shortened by Lee's death at 98. She has remained under the loving care of the staff at Wellspring Meadows since then.

Jeanne is survived by her three children: Paulette Panagos (deceased husband, George Panagos), Sunshine (Charlette) Saccone (husband Fred Saccone) and Mark Will (wife Tony Will). She has three grandchildren: Angelina Ely (Husband, Brandon Ely), Graham Will (deceased) and Taylor Will. She has one great-grandchild, Aidan Ely; along with three step grandchildren and numerous step great-grandchildren.

A bright light has left our lives but still shines bright in our hearts, as Mom has left her family a legacy of laughter, a giving and sacrificial heart and much compassion. God Bless you Mom as you enjoy dancing around God's throne, pain free and full of joy. We look forward to spending eternity with you in the presence of Jesus.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Wellspring Meadows, 9945 Buttercup Lane, Hayden.
