A woman was jailed Monday in Flathead County Detention Center and is awaiting arraignment for felony assault with a weapon charges after she allegedly threatened people with an ax on Sunday.
Court documents allege Rachel Rae Gulbranson, 31, approached a neighbor on South Cedar Drive in Evergreen and began yelling obscenities without any provocation. Gulbranson was holding an ax and allegedly began to take it off her shoulder as she yelled, “Don’t [expletive] test me” at one woman.
The victim fled to safety, and when officers arrived they found Gulbranson in a nearby home, apparently intoxicated. The victim identified Gulbranson.
Her arraignment is set for Oct. 8.
