NIC VOLLEYBALL: Cardinals stop top-ranked CSI

TWIN FALLS — Penny Gwynn and Brenna Meehan had 17 kills and 17 digs each for the North Idaho College volleyball team, which upset the top-ranked Southern Idaho Golden Eagles 18-25, 27-5, 25-22, 24-26, 15-12 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference opener for NIC.

Hannah Christianson had 14 digs and Brittany Gay had 47 assists for NIC (9-10), which travels to seventh ranked Salt Lake today.

CSI is 15-3, 1-1.
