The annual Hayden Kite Festival will take place Saturday, April 23, from noon to 2:30 p.m.

The kites will fly at Broadmoore Park, in Broadmoore Estates, north of Atlas Elementary School and accessible from Prairie Avenue and Atlas Road.

Registration will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. at Broadmoore Park. Judging will take place from noon to 2 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m.

Categories will include Best in Show, High Flyer, Best Homemade and more. The Hayden Kite Festival is free and open to all ages.
