Rodney Wayne Amundson, 59, “went to meet our heavenly Father” on April 2, 2016.

Rod loved life, and was always telling a story. He loved the mountains, horn hunting and fishing.

Rod found his purpose in life when his grandchildren entered into this world. He was the best play toy ever, playing monster and hide and seek, and bringing much laughter and joy to the kids. They will now have Grampa as their guardian angel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Andrews; and those he considered his children, Jeremiah Dickinson and Tandelynn Davis; his beautiful grandchildren, Bradley Stone, Tavia Eystad, Emily Dickinson and Talon Eystad; his loving brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Please join us in a celebration of Rod’s life at 1 p.m. on April 17 at Smith Valley Grange, with a potluck.
