Lady Loggers beat Valkyries in Bigfork

The Lady Loggers continued their winning ways on the courts Friday, claiming a 4-2 victory over the Bigfork Valkyries.

The Lady Loggers lost the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches, with Kaylene Hudson falling 6-4, 3-6, 2-6 to Kalia Wicklund and Sarah McBride losing 3-6, 1-6 to Karlee Park. Isabelle Martineau turned the tide in No. 3 singles with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Wilson Vogt and Laurynn Lauer picked up the 6-3, 6-1 win over Ahnu Fox.

In doubles action Mehki Sykes and Dani Hawthorne claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win over Xiao-Xiao Strong and Julia Saunders and Jenna Barrick and Cloie Boardner beat Maria Zavata and Melissa Maittanu, 6-3, 6-2.
