Beatrice Gunderson, 88, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 24, 1927, in Rice Lake, North Dakota, to Claude and Bessie (Cooper) Connett. They moved to Minnesota in 1938. She graduated from Warren High School in 1946.

On Sept. 21, 1946, she married Morris Gunderson. While living in Minnesota, they had five children, Judy, Peter, Carol, Philip and Mark.

They moved to Dillon, Montana, in 1974 and to the Flathead Valley in 1977. She was a member of Puttering Potters. She attended First Baptist Church of Bigfork. She enjoying baking, gardening, traveling and playing cards.

Beatrice is survived by her children, Judy and Andy Jensen, Pete and Debbie Gunderson, Carol and Dave Kramka, Phil and Sarah Gunderson, and Mark and Cherie Gunderson; her grandchildren, David, Sarah, Carla, Jonathan, Katie, Joel, Travis, Kyle, Laura, Callie, Cristie, Cole, Michael, and Logan; her great-grandchildren, Anna, Ava, Micah, Hailey, Nora, Alise, Ethan, Jackson, and Elena; and her sisters, Ethel Olson, Dorthy Palm and Donna Gram.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris; sister, Helen; and brother, Roy.

There will be visitation at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory from 5 to 7 p.m. on today, April 14. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Bigfork at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15.
