Legion baseball: Lakers AA roll over Rangers A

The Kalispell Lakers AA scored in every inning but the first to whip the Kootenai Valley Rangers A 21-4 on Monday night in American Legion baseball action at Griffin Field.
The Lakers had three big innings, scoring six times in the second, five in the fifth and seventh in the sixth.
Joe Broughton, 2 for 4, drove in six runs for the Lakers (4-1 overall).
Spencer Pisk, 4 for 5, had two RBIs along with Leif Ericksen, Andrew Schleusner and Eric Seaman.
Schleusner, Micah Benson and Ericksen all had doubles. Broughton tripled.
Donovan Fornall doubled for Kootenai Valley.
Kalispell pitchers Benson, Clay Prosser and Schleusner combined on a 2-hitter. Benson fanned five batters in his three innings on the mound.
The Lakers continued with nonconference on Saturday hosting Belgrade for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
