The Glacier girls and Flathead boys ran away with the crosstown track dual on Tuesday at Legends Stadium.

The Wolfpack girls set three new meet records on their way to a 97-48 victory over Flathead.

Glacier sophomore Annie Hill set a pair of distance records at the meet, breaking her own meet record in the 3,200-meter run by more than five seconds, posting a time of 10:31.14, the fastest time run in state all year. She ran a lighter pace in the 1,600, but took off in the final two laps, sprinting to the finish in 5:25.67 and top the five-year old meet record set by Glacier’s Heather Fraley.

The other record was set by Glacier senior JoJo Sherman, who won the pole vault with a meet record mark of 9 feet, 9 inches, topping a five-year old record set by Glacier’s Monique Cannady by three inches.

The Glacier girls won 14 of the 17 events at the meet, with junior Ahna Kreitinger winning the 100, 200 and 300 hurdles. Nikki Krueger won both the shot put and discus.

The Flathead boys were almost equally dominant in the other team title, beating Glacier 87-58. The Braves won 12 of the 17 events.

Micah Bucy tied a meet record in the high jump, winning the event by clearing 6 feet, 3 inches. It ties a season best for the Braves junior.

Flathead junior Jaden Anderson qualified for state with his winning time of 4:33.01 in the 1,600. Continuing the distance dominance, Flathead’s Jake Perrin and Jacob Calles also set qualifying marks by finishing 1-2 in the 3,200.

Bobby Lowry was a double winner for the Braves, taking the 100 and long jump. Chad Hemsley won the 110 and 300 hurdles and Josh McCracken both the shot put and discus.

Glacier’s boys won both relays, edging the short relay by one hundredth of a second.
