Officials ID fatal crash victim

Authorities have identified the person killed in a Thursday afternoon fatal collision on Montana 35 as a Bigfork man.
Donald Spranger, Jr., 52, was the driver and only occupant of a pickup truck that collided with a loaded logging truck at approximately 4 p.m.
Spranger was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The driver and only occupant of the logging truck was not seriously injured. He was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
Montana Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol might have been a factor.
