Opening day of lowland lake fishing tomorrow
Herald Columnists | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 8 years, 6 months AGO
This is it…the big weekend, with many Columbia Basin lakes opening tomorrow morning at 12:01 a.m. Although many Basin lakes are open year round and some open on March1 and still more on April 1, this is what most anglers call the opener.
Lakes opening this weekend include Blue, Park, Deep, Perch, Vic Meyers, Warden and a smattering of others.
This is a good weekend for a day trip. Drive past Blue Lake and you will/should see the edge of the lake lined with campers and tents.
A good bet has plenty of PowerBait and worms on hooks this weekend. Good luck to all.
