COEUR d’ALENE — Abby Howard hit her 10th home run of the season, one of three North Idaho Cardinal players to homer in a 15-2 win over the Treasure Valley Chukars at Lake City High on Friday.

NIC won the second game 13-4. Other details from the second game were not available.

Chloe McIntosh and Lexi Courtney also homered for NIC, which broke the game open with a nine-run second inning.

NIC (21-9, 14-4 East Region) hosts Blue Mountain today at Lake City High.

Treasure Valley is 14-20, 11-7.
