LaRue, Jay head derby standings

SANDPOINT — Jan Deife moved into second place in the adult rainbow trout standings and John Jay assumed the top spot in the Mackinaw standings during the Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club spring derby on Tuesday.
Deife hauled in a 17.10-pound rainbow that measured 35 inches. Jay’s 18.98-pound lake trout put him in first in the Mack standings and earned him Mack of the Day honors.
Arthur Carter remained atop the junior division. Patrick Elmore leads the Youth A bracket, while Clair Belgarde leads the Youth A bracket.
